Whidbey Island is the largest islands in Island County Washington. A side of being the largest island there are more fun things to do in the island, beautiful views and places to visit.
Every September of the year the communities are excited to celebrate the Whidbey Island Kite Festival and many visitors wanting to experience this once a year festival. This festival is an annual test of kite flying skill being held at scenic Camp Casey, there are many kinds and sizes of kites to see. There is also competitive kite flying. Kids can get involved in kitemaking and there are beginning sportkite lessons.
