Creepy Concert & Carnival
South Whidbey Schools Performing Arts Boosters are sponsoring a Creepy Concert & Carnival on Monday, October 29, 2018 at South Whidbey High School. The carnival runs from 6 PM – 7 PM. The concert begins at 7:30 PM. You’ll find plenty of games, a cake walk, face painting, and prizes. The bands from the middle school and high school will be on site to play awesome tunes. Costumes are encouraged! Admission is by donation, but they do suggest 50 cents per game and $5. for the concert. All donations benefit the middle school’s band program.
Monster Mash 2018
The Whidbey Children’s Theater is hosting a fundraiser at the Island County Fairgrounds’ Pole Building on Saturday, October 27, 2018. The event runs from 4 PM – 7 PM. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $40 for families with five or more members. There will be dancing, a costume parade, a coloring contest, a raffle, games, and plenty of treats. Get ready for some creepy fun at the potluck and dance happening at Bayview Hall. Bayview Community Hall is located at 5642 Bayview Road in Langley, WA. This address is in the 98260 zip code area. Things to Do for Halloween in SeattleHalloween Howl
Take a Twilight Tour on Island Transit for some scary story fun on Friday, October 26, 2018. This ride takes place from 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM. You’ll want to RSVP at 360-678-9536. The bus ride is free admission. The tour travels to Deception Pass State Park where Native American storyteller Lou Labombard and Sno-Isle Librarian Jessica Aws gather by the fire in a shelter to share their spooky tales. Costumes are encouraged, and you should probably bring a flashlight. If you’re under 12 years of age, you’ll need to be accompanied by an adult.
The Haunting of Coupeville
Coupeville is bringing the fright again this year at their annual, month-long celebration of Halloween. From the silent sentinels of fall along the main streets to the scary barns on the outskirts of town, there’s a spooky experience waiting for you. The Chamber of Commerce has the spooky graveyard ready for you at Weary Bones Reststop. Sharman’s Haunted Barn is on Terry and Ebey Road and is open from 3 PM – 6 PM on weekdays and 10 AM – 11 PM on weekends. If you want the haunting experience, visit the barn after dark! Other activities include Pumpkin Patch & Trolley Ride, Hay Bale Maze, Murder Mystery Masquerade, Haunted Fort Casey, Catching Casper 5K Run, and Torchlight Parade. Support the restoration of the Admiralty Head Lighthouse and have some Halloween fun with a switchboard tour through the haunted fort October 25 – 27 from 6:30 PM – 10 PM. This tour is for people age ten and up. Visit trick-or-treat lane, have fun at the bounce house, listen to ghost stories, and play some games. Food vendors are on site for treats.
