This number shows a decrease from last month’s 205 homes sold and the 200 homes sold this same month last year. Of those sales from August, 15 were condominium sales and 4 were new construction.
The median sale price of residential homes for this area is $371,000 which is down from the $385,000 we saw last month. We are seeing an increase from the $349,500 that was recorded this same time last year. The median sale price of condominiums for Island County is $223,500. Condos are also showing a drop from the $189,750 recorded last year.
What Does this Data Mean?
We began the month of September with a total of 399 active single-family and condominium homes available in Island County. This number is down from the 480 active listings recorded this same month in 2017 and shows a slight increase from the 368 last month. Of these active listings, 15 are condominium homes, which shows an improvement over the 19 recorded in August of 2017.

There were 239 new listings added to the Island County real estate market in August. This number is down from the 243 that was listed in August of 2017, but the number of new listings increased from the 222 from last month.
